She's right. It's powerful. On an acoustic or an electric. ( for an electric I think it's effect is truly magnified when "ripped" on a SG through a very,very loud amp.

ReplyDeleteI have never played a guitar through an amplifier and it scares me to think it might come to this as musicians fly like bees to the sweetest honey...If a girl played an acoustic guitar and wanted to do smaller rooms solo or duo what would she need?
ReplyDeleteHey Jamie: a Fender Acoustasonic is what I play through for smaller rooms. It has a channel for plugging in your guitar (and an acoustic sounds great through it) and a channel for vocals. That's all you really need, plus a couple cables, a mic/mic stand and tuner.
